the perfect way to spend 72 hours in penang!

ohmygod, the hubster is going to penang for a 4 days course and here i am, feeling itching to tag along. but he will be too occupied to bring me around for food adventure like last time.... hmmm should i repeat penang?

we went to penang in dec 2017(seriously, it has been a year since we came? more legit reason to come again now *wink*.) Penang is THE place to go to keep your tummy happy with loads of things to do for your kiddos as well! whats not to love about that, ey? #happykiddoshappymommy #therealagenda

We stayed at holiday inn, ferringhi due to its easy access to the beach. And friendly on the wallet too! but probably one day, lets spoil the kids and stay at the Shangri-la's Rasa Sayang resort and spa please daddy pleaseeee?

I think we probably went into food coma there. to quote my daughter when i asked her, what did we do in penang, "makan, makan, and makan lagi!" she totally has forgotten about our trip to the entopia, cable car ride up to the peak of bukit bendera and of course, fun time at adventure zone.

lo and behold, here are some of the local dishes that we managed to get into our tummy throughout our stay there.

1. Chicken Biryani Milani and Cheese Naan at Restoran Kapitan (our favourite! and now it has become the kids' favourite too.)

2. Supper at Nasi Tomato Batu Lanchang (we tapau-ed two packets only , as the kids were already sleeping by then. wrong move! who knew that they'll wake up and ate most of my packet. mommy ended up makan ceciput jeeeee!)

3. Breakfast at Pasar Taman Tun Sardon (the nasi lemak is cheap AND sedap! and the hubster claimed that one stall serves the best sandwich in town- true enough, dah habis dah by the time we got there. only ketam je left. so kids, the early bird catches the worm ok.)

4. Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul

5.Sup Hameed

6. Murtabak and Biryani at Hemeediyah Restaurant (yummy, heartily-filled murtabak and price cheaper than pasar malam. no more buying from pasar malam then! to hameediyah, we go.)

the perfect way to spend 72 hours in penang!

so what are you waiting for? wake up and get ready. drive up to the north and cross the penang bridge. and eat eat eat! and hubster, make space for us.
